Heather is originally from Stratford, Ontario, but now calls Porters Lake home. She has been with the company for eight years and works out of Musquodoboit. She is a Peer & Family Support team member and was recently appointed to the provincial 911 Recovery Committee. She looks forward to working with them and other committees in the future. She also recently received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal. Heather shares her life with her husband, five children and Fergus, her 1-year-old black lab. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with family and watching her kids play hockey, lacrosse, rugby and highland dance. As an active individual, she also loves playing baseball, days spent at the beach, music, boating and kayaking. Besides her family and the outdoors, she is also interested in politics, local government and social justice issues.
