IUOE Local 727 is proud to recognize Gregory E. Savory as our Member of the Month for June!
Gregory, a Primary Care Paramedic and Medical First Responder facilitator based in Bridgewater, has been proudly serving his community for 20 years. In addition to his work in Emergency Health Services, he also lends a hand as a casual plow operator with the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation.
A lifelong volunteer, Gregory has been a firefighter since the age of 13, marking an incredible 28 years of service. He also holds an advanced amateur radio operator certification under the callsign VE1 EHS.
Born and raised in the close-knit community of Western Shore, Gregory grew up with strong family values—his mother caring for him and his sister at home while his father fished out of Lunenburg for 35 years.
On his days off, Gregory enjoys riding his motorcycle, attending fire department events, and relaxing at home. With a long-standing interest in mechanics, he’s even considered pursuing a trade in the field.
Thank you, Gregory, for your dedication, service, and continued commitment to your community!
