Dear Members,

Over the coming days, members will begin receiving invoices from IUOE Local 727 for any outstanding dues or fees on their accounts.

A 60-day grace period will apply to all unpaid invoices. Members will have 60 days to pay outstanding balances before unpaid invoices begin to incur applicable fines.

Currently, the union has accrued $68,000.00 in outstanding/unpaid dues.

Who owes dues?

Members who are on leave, as well as casual members whose 2% dues do not meet the applicable monthly minimum, may have dues owing and are responsible for remitting the required dues directly to the Union.

The $25.00 monthly minimum was established in November 2025, representing a reduction from the Step 1 rate of the applicable job classification. Any unpaid dues from before November 2025 will be calculated using the previous dues system and applicable rates. Dues owing from November 2025 onward are subject to the $25.00 monthly minimum.

We understand that these members have not been able to pay dues until we launched the new website, which is why we are offering the grace period and payment plans in certain circumstances.

If you anticipate having difficulty paying your outstanding dues or fees within the 60-day grace period, please reach out to the union office as soon as possible. We may be able to arrange an accommodation to help you manage your outstanding balance.

You can view your outstanding invoices by logging into the Member Portal on the Local 727 website.

First-time Login

If you have not logged into the Member Portal before, use the “Forgot Password?” option to reset your password.

When resetting your password, please try both your EMCI work email and your personal email, as your account was created using the email address we had on file at the time.

You must complete the password reset through the link sent to your email.

Note: Member accounts are generated when we receive your first remittance.
